The American Culinary Federation seals partnership with the American Personal Chef Association to develop Personal Chef Certification LAS VEGAS, August 2002 – Last week, at the annual convention of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), ACF’s President Edward Leonard announced plans for the development of a Personal Chef Certification program that meets the accreditation standards of the ACF, the nation's oldest and largest culinary accrediting agency. In a ceremony held during the general session, President Leonard and American Personal Chef Association (APCA) Founder and Executive Director, Candy Wallace, signed an agreement to partner in the new certification venture as part of the ACF's overall strategy to develop non-traditional career paths within the culinary profession.
