American Personal & Private Chef Association Welcome Student Members
The American Personal & Private Chef Association invests in future entrepreneurs. To prove it, we’ve added a new category of membership to serve student culinarians interested in pursuing careers as personal chefs.
Now, students enrolled in foodservice- or hospitality-training programs may join APPCA for only $75 a year. Benefits of student membership include:
- FREE access to online student discussion forum
- FREE Recipe Management software.
- FREE Membership card declaring your affiliation with America’s premier association for personal and private chefs
- FREE bimonthly, members-only e-newsletter, “à la minute”
- Discounted registration to 2008 Personal & Private Chef Summit
- Eligibility for annual scholarship of live, two-day seminar on personal-chef training (excluding airfare)
- Access to purchase APPCA training materials
- Automatic access to local APPCA chapters, where applicable
To qualify as a student member, the following must apply to you:
- Be enrolled in a training program of an accredited school/institution, Job Corps program or recognized culinary-apprenticeship program (such as ACF’s or that of a major hotel chain)
- Be enrolled in a training program that grants a degree, diploma or certificate upon completion/graduation
- Show proof of enrollment with a student ID card, recent report card (no older than the end of the last semester or quarter) or a signed letter from the chef/instructor who heads your program
- Complete a member profile/application
